2021 Kentucky Derby odds: Essential Quality leads field

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports The 147th edition of the Kentucky Derby will be held on Saturday evening as a crowded field of 20 horses takes the track at Churchill Downs.  Post positions for the 20-horse field were released on Tuesday. Essential Quality will enter as the favorite and race from the No. 14 post, with Luis Saez serving as its jockey. Rock Your World has the second-best odds to win Saturday s race, with Joel Rosario s horse slated to open the race right next to Essential Quality in the No. 15 post.  This year s edition of the race will be run with a limited fan capacity, but will return to its normal May window.

To make things easier and quicker, the Governor’s Job Fair Network of Mississippi set up the Re-Entry Job Fair and the Jackson County Fairgrounds. 15 vendors set up tables, tents and chairs as potential employees drove past them one-by-one.

January 2 The year started with a bang for Tui Rd residents after an out-of-control party on New Year s Eve in Rotorua saw three people taken to hospital, four cars smashed and the road left littered with broken bottles and empty cans. Angry residents were left cleaning up the mess after the party saw more than 100 people turn up, ending with fights and cars being badly damaged.

Updated December 23, 2020 7:35 p.m. EST By Cullen Browder, WRAL anchor/reporter Smithfield, N.C. Bailey Rhodes is spending his Christmas recovering from a crash that could have killed him. The 21-year-old was unloading cars from a tractor-trailer on South Wilmington Street in Raleigh last month when a car hit him at a speed of about 45 mph. He was knocked out, unconscious, Rhodes father, Jamie, said. It threw it him about 25 feet. Bailey Rhodes said he doesn t remember anything that happened. He broke his back, arms and lost his leg. His injures were so severe that he had to spend a month at WakeMed and have eight surgeries.
