SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) A woman suspected of stealing packages off residents’ porches is being held in Shreveport City Jail.
And a search of her home in Shreveport turned up a number of items that had been reported as stolen, police Cpl. Glen Heckard said.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but it has hit restaurants particularly hard causing several of them to close their doors for good.
Whether it is a lack of customers for small business owners; restrictions on in-person or buffet dining or just being a victim of a declining economy here is a list of five restaurants that have closed during 2020.
1) Golden Corral, 1507 Cotton Grove Rd.
After Gov. Roy Cooper ordered the closing of all dine-in options at restaurants, the Golden Corral in Lexington shut down its dine-in service in March. The restaurant was offering pickup options in April until it closed for good in October.
