A new trailer for
Ghostbusters: Afterlife has hit the internet, and it previews more of the upcoming sequel’s story including a familiar threat. You can see the trailer below for the highly-anticipated sequel to the original two films, which hints at the first film’s Gozer the Gozerian returning to haunt the town where Egon (and possibly Janine’s?) grandkids end up. It also features the first look (kind of) at Dan Aykroyd’s returning Ray Stantz.
The film stars Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd, Bill Murray, Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts. Directed by Jason Reitman, it arrives this November and is described as follows:
