The Associated Equip­ment Distributors Foun­da­tion has announced the accreditation of the Heavy Equip­ment Program at Eliza­bethtown Community and Tech­nical College. According to a news release, ECTC becomes the AEDF’s first accredited college in Kentucky and the 41st in the nation. “We are pleased that Eliza­beth­town Com­mun­ity and Technical College has chosen to demonstrate its commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement through the process of accreditation,” AEDF Executive Vice President and COO Jason Blake said in the release. The accreditation, Blake said “. signifies to equipment industry stakeholders that your college has met rigorous industry-specific national construction equipment technical standards. It further signifies to current and prospective students that your program provides the best in diesel-equipment technical education as defined by the industry it serves.”
