DA: New person of interest named in Molly Bish murder case © Provided by WFXT Boston
A new person of interest has been named in the murder of Molly Bish, the 16-year-old whose disappearance from Comins Pond in Warren in June of 2000 sparked a massive search, according to the Worcester County District Attorney.
That person of interest has been identified as Francis ‘Frank’ Sumner Sr. of Spencer, Mass. Sumner died in 2016.
Early just told me this does not rule anyone else out, but they feel they’re now one step closer to solving the case.
Someone came forward “several months ago” and provided information that Sumner may be a person of interest, Early said. @boston25pic.twitter.com/Ly1TtY7iiP Jason Law (@JasonLawNews) June 3, 2021
