On the night, Greenville hitters tallied seven hits, two homers and two doubles. Dom D’Alessandro blasted two homers for his first career multi-homer game. He also drove in two. Kole Cottam registered two hits, both doubles, and two RBI.

Syracuse’s less-than-impressive start to the season continued with another loss to the Woo Sox, their fourth in a row and tenth on the season. Jesus Reyes gave up five runs in the third, and while Syracuse started chipping away at that lead, reliever A.J. Schugel gave up back-to-back homers in the seventh to basically put the game out of reach for the Mets.
