Brisbane Roar has today announced the signing of Antonee Burke-Gilroy as an injury replacement for experienced defender Jack Hingert.
Hingert will undergo a recovery period after sustaining a hamstring injury which ruled him out of Sunday s match against Melbourne City.
His replacement, Burke-Gilroy, joins the Roar from NPL Victoria side Altona Magic until the end of the A-League 2020/21 Season.
The 23-year-old full-back grew up in Newcastle and has had stints in Portugal and the United States, where he played for Tacoma Defiance while sharing a house with Roar midfielder Jesse Daley.
