JACKSON, MI Jessa Pettry understands mental health struggles as a result of her own anxieties and depression and wants to use her reign as Jackson County’s new RoseQueen to help others facing the same situations.
Pettry’s mental health struggles began at age 11, she said, adding she found it difficult to take care of herself as well as her responsibilities.
This announcement comes off of the coattails of the first virtual Rose Queen Pageant where Jessa Pettry was crowned as the 2021 winner.
New Rose Queen Jessa Pettry was a top 5 finalist in 2019, but won the judges over this year with her interview about depression and mental health.
