WE HAVE SHARED HER STORY WITH MANY OF YOU OVER THE YEARS. IN 2008 SHE WAS PICKING APPLES AT A FRIEND’S HOUSE, WHEN A TREE BRANCH BROKE OFF AND FELT 50 FEET ONTO HER HEAD. SHE SUFFERED BRAIN DAMAGE, LOST THE ABILITY TO DO ANYTHING, AND DO A LOT OF THINGS AND WAS ON LIFE SUPPORT
One person is dead and two other people had to be rescued from a York County creek on Monday.UPDATE: The coroner s office has identified the victim as John Beachey, 53, of Brogue.Crews were called to the area near Delta just before 6 p.m. They stayed on the scene for about five hours.WGAL was told three people were kayaking in Muddy Creek in an area known as the Gorge.According to the coroner s office, one of the kayakers had some difficulty. The man became separated from the group and drowned, the coroner said. The Gorge is well known to kayakers, hikers and swimmers, but it s not easily accessible.First responders had to go in on foot.
Tuesday s primary also featured a special election for the Pennsylvania s 48th State Senate District.That election was held for former state Sen. Dave Arnold s seat. Arnold passed away from cancer in January.The 48th district covers Lebanon County and parts of York and Dauphin counties.There were four candidates running for the seat. With 81% of precincts reporting, it appears Republican Chris Gebhard will fill the seat in the 48th district.

WGAL News 8 Updated: 8:14 AM EDT May 17, 2021 A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Lebanon County over the weekend.Pennsylvania State Police say the crash happened Saturday night along Route 72, near Mooshine Road in Union Township. The area is near Jonestown.Three vehicles were involved in the crash; an SUV and two motorcycles.According to police, Michael Khan was trying to pass another
