HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - The Wayne County Board of Supervisors approved measures for construction of a new 500,000-gallon water tower to be built at Meadowland Commerce Park on Highway 45.
According to District 3 Supervisor Jerry Hutto, the project will cost around $1.9 million.
Work is set to begin sometime in early February 2021 and is expected to take about a year to complete.
Its being funded from general obligation bonds issued in 2013 to build basic infrastructure needs at the park.
