Showbiz Cinemas in Waxahachie continues to be open for business, as new movies fill its auditoriums and bowling becomes available at full capacity.
As summer grows closer, more movies are scheduled to come out.
“The theater and the family entertainment center have been doing great. On May 28, we’ve got A Quiet Place II and Cruella, so that is the strongest one-two combo studio films we’ve had in the entire time since the pandemic started affecting the release schedule,” said Jeremy Devine, vice president of marketing and content.

After months of renovations, Showbiz Cinemas opened its doors to the community on Friday, Dec. 18, showcasing its improvements and offering new entertainment for all to enjoy.
The facility opened its doors at 11 a.m. with new movie showings,14 bowling lanes, an arcade, restaurant and more.
Showbiz Cinemas began selling tickets in advance for their showings on opening day and will be selling tickets to new movies like Monster Hunter, “The Croods: A New Age” and “Fatale”.
“We’re running on a staggered schedule all the way through the day and on quite a few shows up to 8:05 p.m,” said Jeremy Devine, vice president of marketing and content for Showbiz Cinemas.

After time in construction and renovation, Showbiz Cinemas will reopen to the public on Dec. 18 in Waxahachie, with 14 bowling lanes, 13 movie theaters, an arcade and a restaurant with a full bar.
The business will open its doors at noon, with full access to all entities. The building has been in construction since February 2020 and will now be available within the next week.
“It’s a state-of-the-art, beautiful theater, and I’m very excited that it gives the community about four different choices to do either alone or in combination. I’ve been in a lot of theaters. We think the protocol is very good and very safe, and I can assure you that people can be distanced successfully,” shared Jeremy Devine, vice president of marketing and content for Showbiz Cinemas.
