Fortunately, I am blessed that my symptoms are very mild because I am vaccinated, said Bettis in a series of posts on Twitter.Bettis said he is currently in isolation at home. I highly encourage everyone to continue to wear masks, practice social distancing, and get vaccinated. We are not in the clear and need to continue to do our part to keep one another safe, Bettis wrote. Bettis spent 10 seasons in Pittsburgh, retiring in 2006 after helping the Steelers win Super Bowl XL. Bettis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
