Vatican Covid Commission backs debt cancellation for African nations
Through a webinar, the Vatican COVID-19 Commission supports the campaign for debt cancellation for African countries.

In a statement released on 8 April, the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development notes that along with the Vatican s Covid-19 Commission it is supporting the campaign for debt cancellation for African countries.
The initiative was launched on Wednesday, 7 April, during a webinar organised by the Dicastery and the Commission itself, in collaboration with Caritas Africa, the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM), Jesuit Conference of Africa and Madagascar (JCAM) and the Association of Consecrated Women of East and Central Africa (ACWECA).
