Get well wishes to Lorena Lafrenier as she underwent surgery a few weeks ago. We welcome Curtis Clark back into the community. He moved away at a young age to North Battleford. Since his step-father Eddy passed away two months ago, Curtis is now residing at the farm site. He is employed by the government in North Battleford and is now learning the skill of feeding and caring for bison. Condolences to Sandra on the passing of her husband, Jim Rings of Chitek lake. They are the owners of a golf course there. Anyone who has golfed reports on how nicely the northern surroundings are, with many birds, squirrels and deer on the course to entertain the golfers. A “for sale” sign has been posted at the main highway for the past two years. His mother-in-law Marilyn Morley also lives in Chitek.
