Today, Apple is introducing a new feature for Fitness+ subscribers called Time to Walk. The feature is pretty simple. When you go take a walk, you can play inspiring stories from celebrities like Dolly Parton, Draymond Green, Uzo Aduba, and Shawn Mendes.
The recordings include lessons learned, meaningful memories, thoughts on purpose and gratitude, moments of levity, and other thought-provoking topics , and they re recorded in places that are somehow meaningful to the speaker. They also include visuals that will appear on your Apple Watch, and there will also be a music playlist included at the end.

Apple launched Fitness+, a new workout service that supposedly caused Peloton stocks to dip when it was announced last fall. The Fitness app is powered by the Apple Watch, which delivers a
personalized and immersive workout experience, allowing users to take
part in hundreds of boutique studio-style classes on any Apple device
(iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV) while receiving real-time metrics about
your workout, such as heart rate and calories burned. A month-and-a-half after launching the Fitness+ app, a new walking experience has been added to their offering that relies on some very familiar voices. Officially titled Time to Walk, it is a new, guided walking tour hosted by a rotating cast of celebrity guests.

Ready to break a sweat with Dolly? We sure just found the motivation we need to work out, thanks to the news that the Smoky Mountain Songbird is hosting a new audio walking experience on Apple Watch for Fitness+ subscribers, designed to get users excited about racking up all the good-for-you health benefits of taking a stroll.
As Parton announced on Instagram earlier this week, she ll be sharing stories from her life on the Apple Fitness+ s new Time to Walk feature to fuel your next power walk or even laps around your apartment. Each original Time to Walk episode lasts 25-40 minutes, and keeps people inspired and engaged throughout their walk with thoughtful and meaningful stories, photos, and music, per the Apple announcement.
