Evacuations in Stevens County lifted for Webb Fire

All evacuations orders are lifted in the area of Jepson Road after a 25-30-acre fire threatened homes in Stevens County It is being called the Webb Fire. The Stevens County Sheriff said there was Level 2 evacuations for the area north of Springdale town limits 3/4 mile and from 231 to 3/4 mile east. DNR will be on scene overnight and tomorrow mopping up. The cause of the fire is under investigation but suspicious. Stevens County Fire District 1 asks if anyone saw anything, please report it to the Sheriff s office.
