A Hopkinsville woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident Thursday night on East 21st Street.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 59-year old Leander Stewart of Hopkinsville was eastbound on 21st and attempted to make a left turn onto Harrison Street, driving into the path and colliding with a westbound automobile operated by 54-year old Shelia Capps of Hopkinsville.
Capps complained of hand, wrist and chest pain and was taken by private vehicle to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Sentencing for a Hopkinsville man facing six wanton endangerment charges has been delayed as he finds a new attorney.
Taquavion Coleman and attorney Jason Holland appeared virtually Wednesday before Christian Circuit Judge Andrew Self. During the appearance, Self said a motion had been filed for Holland to withdrawal himself as council for the case.
Coleman added he would need a few weeks to find a new attorney. Judge Self set the next date for the case for Wednesday, June 2, to line up with another case Coleman is involved in.
Coleman was charged with six counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a minor, and tampering with physical evidence after a wreck on Dawson Springs Road the night of January 9.
Police have released the name of a woman injured in a wreck on Millbrooke Drive at the intersection of Country Club Lane Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 43-year-old Anacaona Allen was on Millbrooke Drive when she ran off the road hitting a mailbox before crossing Country Club Lane and hitting a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn.
Allen reportedly told police she believes the crash could have been caused by a medical issue.
Allen was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. The extent of her injuries was unknown.
The crash happened just after 8 am.
