With more Minnesota schools resuming in-person learning… the state health department is asking families with kids to be tested for COVID-19 every two weeks till the end of the school year.
Assistant state health commissioner Dan Huff says it’s a recommendation, not a requirement to help protect the progress Minnesota has made in the COVID fight.
Huff says schools are not being asked to take-on the testing burden, but suggested tests could be done via the test-at-home program, community testing sites or health care providers.
