Wear a Mask
By this time, after all we’ve seen and everyone we’ve lost in 2020, wearing a mask should be a mark of social responsibility. Because it is. It’s not a hoax. It’s not panic. It’s not being a “sheeple,” and it’s sure as hell not infringing on your personal freedoms. If you think any of those things, you’ve been lied to. If you’ve claimed any of those things, you’re the liar. America lost nearly 350,000 of its own to COVID in 2020; that’s over 1 in every 1,000 citizens of the United States. If that’s not obscene enough to make you wear a mask when you’re in public, then you’re part of the problem. You’ve defected to the side of the enemy. It’s the same as if you had watched the Twin Towers fall on 9/11 and your reaction was, “Well, that Osama Bin Laden has a point.”

TOWN CREEK, Ala. (WAFF) - One year ago today, a small-knit communityâs entire world turned upside down.
December 16th, 2019, an EF-2 tornado ripped across County Road 265, also known as Blue Hollow Road, in Lawrence County.
Three people were killed in that tornado and several others were injured.

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - Caleb Brooks has been discharged from the hospital following his small intestine transplant surgery and post-surgery recovery.
In less than two weeks, Brooks was able to reunite with his family after an initial prognosis of four to six weeks in the hospital after the surgery. According to Calebâs wife Madeline, doctors have told the family Brooks has defied many odds to get to where he is today.

ATHENS, Ala. (WAFF) - The Tennessee Valley saw its first COVID-19 vaccination on Tuesday.
Dr. Matt Hanserd of Athens-Limestone Hospital received the Pfizer vaccine shortly after noon on December 15.
WAFF’s Jenna Rae was at the hospital as the first five vaccinations were administered to healthcare professionals.
