COVID Vaccine, Fact & Fiction

Jun 10, 2021 | 3:42 AM APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – COVID-19 vaccine myths have run rampant, since the first vaccine came out. But doctors say, the reasons for not getting vaccinated don’t hold up, and debunk a lot of those theories. From changing your DNA… “That is not true. There’s no component of the vaccine, or any of its ingredients that goes near your DNA, interacts with your DNA, changes your DNA,” said ThedaCare chief medical officer Dr. Jennifer Frank. “It’s impossible for that to happen.” To containing microchips, “I think the microchip one is pretty ridiculous,” Dr. Michael Landrum, Bellin Health’s infectious disease specialist said. “There’s just no way that there’s some little microprocessor, I mean, if you look at the vial, it’s just a small vial of clear fluid, and there’s no way that there’s any little microscopic chip, or anything in there. And why would the government want to do that, anyway?”

Valley News - Jim Kenyon: Chief concerns in the future of Norwich s police department

Send requests to permission@vnews.com. Modified: 4/20/2021 10:05:27 PM In a town where police handled as many cases last year for assault (two) that it did for littering, Norwich can probably take its time in hiring a new police chief, if it needs one at all. Despite what some Norwich residents want to believe, crime is not a problem in one of Vermont’s richest communities. Some residents and second-home owners like that Norwich police provide free “property checks” when they’re away. But with only five burglaries reported last year, I’m not sure the need is all that great. If homeowners are really that worried about their family silver being snatched, they should hire a private security detail instead of sticking taxpayers with the bill.
