The Delaware County Cattlemen’s Beef Banquet will be held Saturday, January 30th from 5:30 to 8 pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Manchester. This is drive-through only this year. Enter at the fairgrounds’ main gate and follow the signs. Everyone is encouraged to get tickets in advance – they cost $18 before January 25th and then $20 the week of the event. Serving 12-oz steak, baked potato, green beans, roll and dessert. They will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a ¼ of a beef – those can be purchased beforehand or that night (if they are still available). Though the Delaware County Cattlemen still opened their Steer-n-Stein at the Delaware County Fair last summer, they weren’t able to do nearly as many events as they usually do throughout the year due to COVID – so Maurer says they’re looking forward to getting back out there again this year.
