Local authorities on Jeju Island and in Gangwon Province and Busan, popular tourist destinations known for their beaches, are struggling to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections, as an increasing number of vacationers are visiting the regions for the summer holiday season.
The country is facing another wave of infections, with the new daily cases having exceeded 1,000 for the past week. Most infections have been focused on the Seoul metropolitan area, but cases reported in other parts of the country are also showing a growing trend, with local authorities raising concerns that the fourth wave of infections could be spreading from the Seoul metropolitan area to their regions.

제주도, 유연근무제 의무적 시행

[아이뉴스24 유태희 기자] 제주특별자치도가 오는 12일 0시부터 사회적 거리두기 개편 2단계가 적용되는 가운데 재택근무, 시차 출퇴근제 등 유연근무제를 의무적으로 시행한다고 12일 밝혔다.

제주도는 밀집·접촉도 완화하면서 업무 공백을 방지하기 위해 유연근무제를 적극 활용할 방침이다. 그동안 자율적으로 실시하던 재택근무와 시차 출퇴근제를 부서별 규모에 맞게 의무적으로 추진할 계획이다.
