UM s Roadmap to Our New Century plan offers Class of 2025 a glimpse of the future

Photo credit: UM Housing Upon graduation in 2025, members of today’s freshman class will celebrate their personal achievements as well at the University of Miami’s as it marks its centennial. During the next four years, the university will have implemented many of President Julio Frenk’s goals to increase UM’s local and global stature and influence as a major private institution of higher learning. In his 2016 inaugural presidential address, “Roadmap to Our New Century,” President Julio Frenk outlined a strategic, multi-faceted plan to advance UM’s influence and impact on a local, national and global scale by its 2025 centennial.

Somerset woman arrested after traffic stop in Wayne County

JEFF NEAL Commonwealth Journal May 4, 2021 MONTICELLO, Ky. — A routine traffic stop on Monday night by the Wayne County Sheriff s Office led to the arrest of a Somerset woman. Jessica Brumley was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance — 2nd or greater offense (heroin); trafficking in a controlled substance—1st offense (Carfentanil or Fentanyl derivatives); possession of a controlled substance — 3rd degree (drug unspecified); and possession of drug paraphernalia. The incident began when Wayne County Deputies Derek Dennis and Jerry Meadows conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations on East Ky. 90.
