Now the 33-year-old real estate agent from Holladay alleges in a lawsuit that the doTerra product contained more than 23 times the safe amount of bergamot oil the same substance used to make Earl Gray tea that can make a person hyper-sensitive to UV rays when applied to skin. It had burned others in the past, but the company continued to sell it without any sort of warning before Kruger ended up in an emergency room, the lawsuit contends.

The 20th anniversary edition of the Tribeca Film Festival kicks off on June 9, and it s got enough genre programming to make your head spin. In addition to werewolves and spine-tingling pregnancies, the event also has an all-star panel of jurors: Sharon Stone, Patricia Arquette, Sanaa Lathan, Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, Warrington Hudlin, Delroy Lindo, Elijah Wood, Bryan Cranston, Andre Holland, Margaret Cho, Melissa Leo and Hari Nef. Storytellers rallying together, sharing their admiration and inspiring growth in one another’s work is one of the most inspiring parts of Tribeca, Jane Rosenthal, festival co-founder and CEO of Tribeca Enterprises/Tribeca Festival, said in a statement. “Our jury and incredible community of talented creators are coming back to gather in-person to surround their fellow artists with support.”

Today (Wednesday), is the Day of Mourning across Canada and in BC, 151 workers lost their lives last year to workplace injury and illness. “Today, we remember the people who died because of their workplace injuries, accidents, and illnesses. We think of the families, friends, and coworkers they have left behind. The National Day of Mourning is an important opportunity to restate our commitment to making B.C. workplaces the safest in Canada. Every day we are taking action to improve workplace safety so that every worker returns home in the same condition they left,” said Harry Bains, Minister of Labour.
