Two people from Ohio were arrested with loaded handguns after a traffic stop on Route 3 in Secaucus Wednesday, authorities said.
Secaucus Police Officer Michael Borrelli noticed a vehicle that did not have a driver-side mirror traveling east on Route 3 and pulled over the vehicle, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. During the 7:54 p.m. stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana from the passenger side of the vehicle and saw suspected marijuana protruding out of the passenger’s front pants pocket, Miller said.
