Just a couple of weeks ago, Birmingham police issued a plea to the public for help in solving a decade-old murder.
That plea was answered, and on Wednesday a suspect was charged in the Feb. 10, 2010 shooting death of 47-year-old Jeffrey Deon Wormley. The Birmingham man was shot when he opened the door to his killer.
Antonio Devon Coleman, 34, is charged with capital murder during a burglary. He was transferred Wednesday from the Birmingham City Jail to the Jefferson County Jail where he was formally booked in at 2 p.m.
