MUSIC: Help from Foreigner â Rock bandâs show features local church choir, donation to childrenâs music ministry

Foreigner brings its considerable catalog of hits to Simmons Bank Arena on Sunday, and the veteran rockers are calling on some local talent to open the show.
The Second Presbyterian Church Chamber Choir of Little Rock will perform a 15-minute set of a capella versions of rock n roll classics before Foreigner takes the stage.

And at some point during the bandâs upcoming Grand Junction concert youâll say to yourself, âWow, I forgot how many Foreigner songs I know,â Pilson said.
The concert, which will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Las Colonias Amphitheater, 925 Struthers Ave., will have a ton of energy, all of Foreignerâs hits and âpure rock ânâ roll fun,â he said.
Tickets start at $57.50 for a spot in the amphitheaterâs lawn and go up in cost from there.
Foreignerâs hits include âI Want To Know What Love Is,â âWaiting For A Girl Like You,â âDouble Vision,â âHot Blooded,â âCold as Iceâ and so many more.
