Transparency still lacking in South Kitsap school district

This one-of-a-kind board meeting was not recorded in its entirety. Everything is gone with the exception of board member Liz Sebren expressing some of her views against letting the public sit in on district/union negotiations. The board consequently voted to cancel the scheduled community hearing set for May 5 to let the community talk about this. The board previously voted to have this public hearing on this matter. One clear example of less than full transparency in SKSD board dealings with our community. The board voted to shelve any public hearing on this for an indefinite period.
