(Getty Images) OAN Newsroom UPDATED 4:12 PM PT – Friday, July 9, 2021 A 12-year-old boy from Louisiana is being hailed a hero after fatally shooting an armed intruder who was threatening his mother. Authorities have said the assailant, 32-year-old Brad LeBlanc, forced the boy’s mother into her Clinton, Louisiana home at gunpoint last week. When a struggle ensued, the young boy shot the suspect with a hunting rifle. First responders transported LeBlanc to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Reports said two suspects have been charged in connection with the home invasion. Johnathon Barker was charged with second-degree murder and Jennifer Bond was arrested for accessory after the fact.
