There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved. George Sand
Where do I start?
I suppose the best place is at the beginning. It’s an easy moment to pinpoint, in retrospect, but at the time I had no idea that one simple gesture would irrevocably alter the trajectory of my life.
Mrs. Auffray had assigned our seats in eighth grade homeroom at the beginning of the year. My seat was on the first row on the left-hand side of the classroom, right in front of Jeff Sims. I was shy and insecure back then, and for good reason. With an unruly mop of brown hair that always looked like I had just crawled out of bed, I wore smudged wire-framed glasses and braces and had the fashion sense of a wombat. A bookish fan of science fiction and J.R.R. Tolkien, I was far more comfortable with Star Trek lingo, my model airplanes and extensive fossil collection than I was around girls.

Class or classes that most impacted your life? - DressHerInWhiteAndGold
Ben: Oh man, this is a tough one. My journalism capstone was incredible, but I also really got a lot out of my Intro to Acting class I took on a whim my last semester.
Carter: MUSI 1008, 2008, 3008, and 4008. Better known as marching band. Oh, and I can’t forget MUSI 4802, the special topics course.
Also, Applied Combinatorics (MATH 3012) was a lot of fun, because after multiple semesters of dry multivariable calculus, it was extremely refreshing to take an
applied math course to remind myself I did, in fact, enjoy math before calculus came along. I had a question asking how to calculate the total number of possible ACC football schedules for one exam.

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech athletics announced on Tuesday that the Yellow Jackets’ Sept. 25 home game versus North Carolina will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as a part of Tech’s six-year partnership with AMB Sports + Entertainment to host one game annually at MBS.
Georgia Tech athletics and AMB Sports + Entertainment announced in 2019 that it had entered a partnership that would have the Yellow Jackets play an annual home game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the home of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, each year from 2020-24. When last season’s home game versus Notre Dame was moved from MBS to Bobby Dodd Stadium due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Tech athletics and AMBSE added an extra year to the agreement, giving the Yellow Jackets six-straight annual home games at MBS from 2021-26.
And now. the moment that you all have been waiting for. The Week 7 Dubious Distinctions!
The Sparky McEwen Bonehead Coaching Move of the Week:
Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz Head Coach Sparky McEwen successfully ran the Grand Rampage into the ground for three seasons, finishing 13-35 and drawing the ire of many across the state of Michigan. This award will be handed out to the head coach who displayed the most ineptitude for the week.
And the award goes to.
Ernesto Purnsley, Utah Blaze: I mean, really. Really. I may have to rename this award. Coach, I understand that you left play calling at the end of your game against the Milwaukee Iron up to one of your coordinators, but ultimately, if they screw up, you take the fall. The Blaze had every chance in the world to pull the biggest upset of the season and beat the Iron, but somehow, they snapped defeat from the jaws of victory. With the game tied at 48 with 0:55 to play facing 3rd down and goal to go with neither team having a timeout
