TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle has caused authorities to close Toll 49 between Paluxy and Broadway Ave. in Tyler. The wreck occurred around 4 p.m. today.
At least one person has died in the crash, DPS confirms.

Tyler Legacy celebrates seniors committing to armed forces with special breakfast

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler Legacy High School celebrated eight seniors who have committed to serve in the United States Armed Forces with a special breakfast Friday.
Tyler ISD Board Trustee Rev. Fritz Hager, Jr. delivered an inspirational message. Legacy High School administrators and Legacy staff who served in the armed forces were also in attendance.
“We have hosted this special event for our students for about 10 years now,” Dr. Dan Crawford, Legacy principal, said. “We are extremely proud of these students for their commitment to serve our country, and it is our honor to celebrate them.”

Lamb noted that that it originated from the railroaders from Palestine, Illinois and they, in turn, got it from the Hebrew name: Philistine.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Police are at the scene of a crash in South Tyler.
According to Tyler Police Department PIO Andy Erbaugh, a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into a ditch in a wooded area. The car crashed at 2400 Oak Creek Circle off W. Cumberland, near Old Jacksonville Hwy. The call came in to police just after 7 p.m. as a possible pin-in wreck.
