GRAYSVILLE The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office identified a man shot and killed on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Jeremy Joseph Sehhat, 40, of Graysville, was shot in the 5900 block of Old Jasper Highway, according to Coroner Bill Yates.
Sehhat was pronounced dead on the scene at 11 p.m.
Graysville Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. It is believed the victim was shot during a reported assault.
Police did not provide any information on a possible suspect or suspects in the case.

CENTER POINT The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a pedestrian on Center Point Parkway, on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
A 46-year-old man was walking in the 10 block of 24th Avenue NW when he was struck by a vehicle, according to Coroner Bill Yates.
The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office said the driver of the vehicle left the scene. The pedestrian was found nearby in the 2400 block of Center Point Parkway. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:08 p.m.
Sgt. Joni Money said detectives are gathering information. There are Flock Safety cameras in the area to help with the investigation.

BIRMINGHAM The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office identified a man killed in a crash in Birmingham on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Kenyun Montez Moore, 43, of Birmingham, was the rider of a motorcycle traveling on Third Avenue West. According to Coroner Bill Yates, a Dodge Avenger crossed over the center line into Moore’s lane, hitting him head-on.
The wreck happened at 10:29 p.m. Moore was taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:01 p.m.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.
