Updated: 10:25 AM CDT May 10, 2021 Linda Grantin Birmingham police say a 43-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend.Kenyun Montez Moore, 43, of Birmingham, was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital at 11:01 p.m. Saturday. According to police, Moore was driving a motorcycle on 3rd Avenue West when a car traveling in the opposite direction crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with Moore s motorcycle. It s unknown at this time if anyone in the car was injured.The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

BIRMINGHAM The Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office identified a man killed in a crash in Birmingham on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Kenyun Montez Moore, 43, of Birmingham, was the rider of a motorcycle traveling on Third Avenue West. According to Coroner Bill Yates, a Dodge Avenger crossed over the center line into Moore’s lane, hitting him head-on.
The wreck happened at 10:29 p.m. Moore was taken to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:01 p.m.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.

A motorcyclist was killed in a weekend crash in Birmingham.
The crash happened at 10:29 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Third Avenue West, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Kenyun Montez Moore.
Authorities said Moore was traveling east on Third Avenue West when he was struck head-on by a Dodge Avenger that crossed over into his lane. Moore was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:01 p.m.
Birmingham police are investigating.
