Racial justice protests, political turmoil and the pandemic all left their mark on each and every person, and students were not immune to it. So the faculty at Warren Tech in the Jefferson County School district wanted to give their classes a way of conveying how the last year has changed them. They found their medium in the poster.

Vaccinations are limiting the spread of the coronavirus in the Colorado communities where they are being most accepted.
Dr. Rachel Herlihy, the state’s epidemiologist, compared vaccination rates in the state s 10 largest counties with COVID-19 case rates. At a Tuesday COVID-19 update, she said case rates are highest in locations where vaccination rates are lowest and vice versa. What we re really seeing here is our first clear sign, our first promising indication, that we re seeing community-level protection from vaccination, Herlihy said.

More than 100 firefighters responded to a fire near Fox Hollow Golf Course and Bear Creek Lake Park in Jefferson County on Sunday afternoon.
Propelled east by the wind, the fire also prompted evacuations of a large swath of metro neighborhoods, from C-470 east to Kipling Parkway and from U.S. 285 north to Morrison Road.
Majority of the #MorrisonRoadFire is out, crews are still working hotspots in drainages. There is structure protection in place, however no structures are currently threatened.
