Victor Alpi works on his art at Neighborhood Comics Neighborhood Comics, downtown Savannah’s comic book specialty store, has launched a Comic Artist-in-Residence Program. Designed to demystify the process of making comics, Lee Heidel, owner of Neighborhood Comics thought this would be the perfect opportunity to connect Savannah-area comic book artists with the public. The residency will support one local artist per month by providing a dedicated workspace inside the store so that customers can see firsthand how artists create their work. From storyboards to layouts, customers will have the chance to ask the artist questions and even purchase some of their work.

After meeting with President Mario Abdo Benítez, Fernández said the government will manage economic resources amounting to US$30 million to purchase these 10 scanners. One-hundred-twenty-five playwrights, writers, poets, painters, photographers and naturalists joined their voices in a book titled Heaven, open up, to express their opposition to the Valtreixal open-pit mine project, owned by Canada’s Almonty Industries (TSE: AII). Valtreixal is a tin-tungsten project located near the village of Calabor in northwestern Spain, close to the border with Portugal and approximately 250 kilometres from Almonty’s Los Santos tungsten mine.
