Secretary of Homeland Security to Participate in U.S. Chamber of Commerce NOW + NEXT
On Wednesday, May 5, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas will participate in a virtual event hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce entitled NOW + NEXT: Countering Ransomware Webinar. Secretary Mayorkas will speak about why protecting against ransomware is a national security priority and a critical issue for small businesses.

The rapid expansion in the use of cloud technologies to support remote working during the COVID-19 pandemic has underscored that the U.S. government s increasingly high rate of cloud adoption will likely be sustained for the next several years.
