More than £12,000 has been raised for good causes through sales of a jigsaw puzzle. Last July, Wentworth Wooden Puzzles, based in Malmesbury, released an exclusive puzzle, to say ‘Thank You’ to NHS staff and other key workers for their work during the coronavirus crisis. The aim was to raise £3,000 for Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund but after he puzzle sold out in all three sizes it has raised over four times the initial target. Wentworth Wooden Puzzles, a Wiltshire-based puzzles specialist, has raised over £12,000 for its local charity, the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund, four times its initial target when it launched its exclusive jigsaw puzzle last year.
Designed a means of saying thank you to NHS Staff and all the other key workers for their efforts throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the jigsaw puzzle was launch last July with the aim of raising £3,000 for the Wiltshire charity.
However, thanks to the ‘overwhelming response from customers’ that exceeded the expectations of the team at Wentworth Puzzles, the jigsaw puzzle went on to sell out in all three sizes produced and raise more than four times its initial target.
Last July, Wentworth Wooden Puzzles based in Malmesbury, released an exclusive jigsaw puzzle, to say ‘Thank You’ to NHS staff and all the other key workers for their essential work during the coronavirus crisis. The aim was to raise £3,000 to donate to their local charity, the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund. However, the puzzle received such an overwhelming response from customers, that far exceeded anyone’s expectations, it sold out in all three sizes and raise over £12,000 - over four times the initial target.
