21-year-old man missing days after falling into Houston Ship Channel, authorities say

Authorities on Wednesday were searching for Cody Hansen, 21, who fell into the Houston Ship Channel last week between Baytown and La Porte.Texas EquuSearch
Authorities are searching for a 21-year-old man who last week fell into the Houston Ship Channel, according to Texas EquuSearch.
Cody Hansen is believed to have drowned after falling into the channel Feb. 5 between Baytown and La Porte, said EquuSearch.
Hansen, who is bearded with red hair, had been wearing blue jeans and a jacket at the time. He also has a tattoo of a surfer riding a wave on the left side of his chest, authorities said.

A Katy man was sentenced Thursday to federal prison after he admitted to embezzling more than $2 million from a Houston oil services company, where he worked as an executive, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Texas.
Robert Andrew Bishop, 46, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Keith Ellison to 41 months in federal prison, followed by two years of supervised release.
