Students in Millsboro Middle School’s Junior Optimist Club presented supplies and a cash donation to a local shelter during a March 30 ceremony.
Marie Morole, executive director of Sussex County Crisis Housing Services, thanked students for their dedication to the community. Morole said the donation was especially appreciated at this time, as many of the organization’s funding streams have dried up.
