DepEd teacher among outstanding young men of 2020

(photo from DepEd) Elago, who holds a Master Teacher 1 position, is from Agusan del Norte in Caraga region. He is the honoree for Community Development/Education in the 2020 TOYM organized by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines, together with The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) Foundation, the Gerry Roxas Foundation and Advantage Management Consulting Philippines Inc. Elago earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Education from Caraga State University and his Master of Arts in Education Major in Educational Management from Saint Joseph Institute of Technology. He also has a Graduate Diploma in Cultural Education from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan.

Palatine Jaycee named to JCI membership team Megan O Brien, Palatine Jaycee 2021 Chapter Management Vice President   Updated 1/28/2021 11:53 AM Megan O Brien appointed to JCI USA Membership Committee as a coach with the Established Chapters who have over 31 members. JCI USA, the National affiliate of Junior Chamber International, recently appointed Megan to the 2021 Membership Development Team as a coach with the Established Chapters who have over 31 members. Megan a local member of the Palatine Jaycees, is one of thirteen (13) members of the National Membership Team. The Membership Development team is tasked with coaching over 350 chapters across the United States in membership recruitment, retention, engagement, and development.

JCI Gives me Hope For a Greater Continent of Africa - Obasanjo

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed delight, saying Junior Chamber International has reinstated his hope for a greater continent of Africa. Obasanjo made this known at the Africa and The Middle East National Presidents virtual meeting held on Saturday. The former President pointed that with the quality of young people in the organisation, he is more hopeful about the development of the continent of Africa through their impacting programs. He however, urged the participants at the meeting to embrace change, saying it is the only thing that is permanent in the life of human beings and institutions, adding that nobody should be afraid of change.
