Gender discrimination lawsuit charges toxic culture at City Hall

In the suit, Mathews alleges that she was discriminated against because of her gender. It names six counts: Hostile Work Environment, two counts of Retaliation, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress, and Violation of Public Policy. Also named in the suit is Mayor James Davis, Law Director Jay Coffey, Assistant Counsel Donna Russo, and Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Eduardo Ferrante, and the City of Bayonne.
