TEHRAN, April 21 (Xinhua) Iran and Pakistan on Wednesday opened the third cross-border point to enhance trade exchanges, the official IRNA news agency reported.
The Pishin-Mand border crossing, located on the border of Iran s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan with Pakistan, was opened for trade exchanges, the report said.
Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami and Pakistan s Minister for Defense Production Zubaida Jalal Khan attended the opening ceremony, according to the report.
Eslami said that basic steps have been taken over the past years in developing relations with Pakistan, including the opening of cross-border points.

Pakistan inaugurated on Wednesday the third crossing point on its border with Iran in the Balochistan province.
The Pishin-Mand border crossing was inaugurated by Defence Production Minister Zubaida Jalal Khan. Other officials from Pakistan and Iran attended the ceremony too.
In her address, the minister said the opening of two crossing points on the border with Iran in the last six months was a huge milestone for her government.

The multinational maritime exercise, Aman-21, culminated on Tuesday in the north Arabian Sea with a graceful conduct of International Fleet Review (IFR) followed by spectacular forming up of Aman formation comprising Pakistan Navy and foreign warships.
President Dr Arif Alvi graced the occasion as chief guest, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) said in a statement.

TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) Iranian and Pakistani officials inaugurated on Saturday the Rimdan-Gabad border crossing, providing the shortest land route linking the Pakistani port of Gwadar to westward corridors, Iran s Press TV reported. After Mirjaveh crossing, Rimdan is starting today its activity as an official trade border crossing between Iran and Pakistan, the spokesman for Iran s Customs Organization said in the inauguration, as quoted by official news agency IRNA.
