Nippon Ichi Software and FOG have revealed more gameplay details on
Fuuraiki 4, showing how players will be able to explore Japan’s Gifu prefecture with a motorcycle in the upcoming adventure game known for using real-life landscapes. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
In
Fuuraiki 4, the player will assume the role of a magazine writer who visits Gifu for four weeks to write articles for a competition. The game’s overall goal is to visit as many locations as possible and submit articles covering them within the time limit.
The protagonist will set up camp to sleep at during his Gifu trip. A day’s flow in the game starts with waking up to make coffee in the morning. During the day, the player can travel to various locations within the prefecture, as long as the fuel-like stamina gauge still permits it. In the Touring Mode, the player may freely choose the preferred direction while enjoying a 360-degree view of the scenery.
