STORRS, CT The University of Connecticut women s basketball team will travel to Atlanta on Dec. 9, to face Georgia Tech in McCamish Pavilion, UConn head coach Geno Auriemma said this week.
The game will serve as a homecoming for senior Olivia Nelson-Ododa, who is a native of Winder, Ga.
UConn is 2-0 all-time against Georgia Tech. The teams last met on Nov. 21, 2010. The Yellow Jackets are UConn s third confirmed ACC opponent next season as the Huskies will also face Notre Dame and Louisville.

STORRS, Conn. (AP) â UConn star Paige Bueckers spent a lot of 2020 in the ear of her good friend Azzi Fudd, pushing last year s top high school prospect to join her at Connecticut.
The Associated Press womenâs basketball player of the year even showed up at Fudd s home with a recruiting video that showed Bueckers in high school, making spectacular pass after spectacular pass.
