Amanda Dunlap, an intensive care unit nurse for Lima Memorial Health System, was one of the first nurses to volunteer to work in her hospital’s COVID-19 unit in March. The experience has been emotionally draining for many healthcare workers who are now in the ninth month of working the pandemic.
