A MOTORIST is warning others after he received a parking fine for entering a city carpark to look for a space, leaving minutes later because it was full. Hilton Sanderson entered the Heads Lane car park, at West Walls, Carlisle in December, he drove around the car park for five minutes before leaving because there were no spaces available. He soon received a fined for £100 and it looks like other motorists have been in a similar position. Here s what you had to say about it. Joanna Loughran commented: I often park there, I noticed they’d changed their policy and method of payment etc, I’ll think twice about parking there now that’s criminal.
