The company announced the news today as part of its Designer Dress Collection, which made its debut last year with Cushnie, Lisa Marie Fernandez and LoveShackFancy. For this season s lineup, which also includes Alexis and Rixo, Rogers created three statement dresses in his signature prints and bright colors, all of which will be available in sizes XXS-4X. One of the looks, a Crawfish floral cotton frock, was inspired by archival couture and vintage floral seed packaging.

Just last month Target announced its activewear brand All in Motion surpassed $1 billion in sales in its first year, despite launching just before the pandemic hit. In doing so, All in Motion became Target s tenth brand to reach the $1 billion sales milestone Our owned brands are truly a differentiator for Target, said Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, style and owned brands, Target. It s not surprising that Target has been hard at work on their next owned brand, announcing earlier this week Favorite Day, a new food and beverage brand with more than 700 items such as bakery, snacks, candy, premium ice cream, cake decorating supplies and beverage mixers. Favorite Day will begin hitting Target stores April 5 and will be available through Target s services such as Order Pickup, Drive Up and Same Day Delivery with Shipt.

Target Keeps Pandemic Momentum Going

Executive Editor Target invested an additional $1 billion in its workforce in 2020, including five recognition bonuses for front-line team members. It s clear that Target s multi-channel shopper strategy is working after the retailer reported a blockbuster holiday quarter of impressive sales and traffic growth.  For the fourth quarter ended Jan. 30,  same store sales increased 20.5%, consisting of 6.9% growth at physical stores and 118% digital growth. Average ticket grew 13.1%. The company said that 12 million more guests became multi-channel shoppers during Q4. Over time, multi-channel guests spend on average nearly four times more than a store-only guest and nearly 10 times more than a digital-only guest, Target said.
