No additional details were released Friday by police regarding the death of a woman Sarnia Thursday that led to a first-degree murder charge against a city man.

A Sarnia man has been charged with second-degree murder in the weekend death of Luis Enrique Hernandez..
Timothy James Noj, 32, was arrested at a local motel shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sarnia police said.

A bail hearing was expected for Wednesday.
Hernandez, 26, was taken to hospital Saturday evening, where he was later pronounced dead.
Hernandez and Noj were known to each other, Sarnia police Const. Giovanni Sottosanti said.
Whether a weapon was involved was not being disclosed Tuesday, Sottosanti added.
The investigation is ongoing, he said.

Brian David Sutherland, 32, of Sarnia has been identified by Sarnia police as the person found dead Jan. 5 near Indian Road on Highway 402 in Sarnia.
A highway maintenance employee called police around mid-day Jan. 5 and said a dead body had been found in the area of the Highway 402 off-ramp to Exmouth Street, near Indian Road.

An autopsy was completed at London Health Sciences Centre, but Sarnia police declined to release details of the cause of death, “other than it was not criminal or suspicious in nature,” said Const. Giovanni Sottosanti.
