Sarnia police were investigating after a deceased person was found near the Highway 402 off-ramp to Exmouth Street, near Indian Road.
A highway maintenance employee called police around 12:20 p.m. to report finding a dead body near the roadway, said Const. Giovanni Sottosanti, a spokesperson for Sarnia police.

There was no information immediately available about the person’s identity.
The off-ramp was blocked Tuesday afternoon and forensic officers, uniformed officers and detectives were investigating, police said.
Lambton OPP also responded to the scene, but Sarnia police have taken over the investigation, Sottosanti said.

More than $1 million in pot was seized during a recent drug bust at an illegal cannabis dispensary in the Aamjiwnaang First Nation territory, Sarnia police say.
