This Sunday, Max Verstappen will again try to leave his mark on the virtual racing world. Less than a week before the start of winter testing in Bahrain, the Dutchman will compete in the BMW Motorsport SIM-GT Cup.
Verstappen will compete for team Redline again today, alongside teammate Gianni Vecchio. This time they will try to win the two-hour virtual race at Suzuka.

BMW SIM GT Cup Returns to Action This Weekend at Suzuka!
The second round of the 2021 BMW SIM GT Cup heads to Japan this Sunday, with a visit to Suzuka International Racing Course. The two-hour event, featuring teams of two drivers with a mandatory changeover, is the first of two rounds to take place in March, and marks a return to action after the series took off the month of February.
The BMW SIM GT Cup is the successor to last year’s popular BMW SIM 120 Cup. Divided into two seasons, a total of ten races will take place in 2021. In the five rounds that comprise Season 1, sim racers go head to head in teams of two in the BMW M8 GTE. A total prize purse of $4,200 USD is up for grabs for the top three teams in the first four races of each season.
